Make the right impression with Online Dating

So you decided to join a dating site? Awesome! The most vital part of your online dating process is creating a great profile. This can sometimes be a very frustrating part of the process, but we're here to help you achieve it.

First things first, the initial step in creating a profile is picking out a username. A username is very important - it's what people will first see when they scroll through profiles. Picking a right username means that people would have incentive to click and see your profile. You do not want to come off as a player, a pervert or s loser.

When picking out a username, a great place to start is to identify your interests or hobbies. This will be the best way to create an exciting and very kosher username. For example if you love snowboarding, think about snwbrdngmike or if you're a writer scifilouise, etc. Doing this is a great way to get people who are serious about finding that special someone to take notice. You never know who's looking, it could be sci-fi enthusiast or a hardcore snowboarder. Using cheesy usernames may just turn people away.

Second: Take the time to fill out your profile. A one liner is not going to hack it. If you create a profile and all you have to say is "Just checking this out" or "Send me a message and I'll answer", dont expect much results. You have to specify what you're all about and what it is that you're looking for. If you're a over achiever who is really interested in dating professionals, then you have to make that clear. If you're into wining and dining and want to date someone who has a sophisticated pallet, you have to address that too. Remember, complete and honest profiles will get you sincere results.

Third: Pick the right picture. I cannot stress this enough. Add a picture and you'll be pleased with the results. Would you take another person serious if they didnt have a picture? Also, be selective about the types of picture you decide to post. Dont post picture that may lead to people thinking that you already have someone in your life and dont post pictures that could be viewed as obscene. Take the time to post a quality picture of yourself.
Follow these three simple steps and you'll be on your way to a successful online dating experience
